Disney Reveals Exciting New Attractions, Shows & Hotels Worldwide

Disney has unveiled what is coming up for its amusement parts around the world in 2020 and beyond and we might as well start booking our tickets to the nearest Disney park now.

The company announced at the D23 Expo the launch of several new attractions that will soon be appearing at the various theme parks, including a new parade of Disney Characters.

Marvel’s Avengers

A new superheroes “campus” based on Marvel’s Avengers will be debuting at Disneyland Paris from 2020 and will feature a new ride Spider Man attraction and give guests a taste of what it’s like to have superpowers.

Guests will also be able to grow and shrink their food at the “campus” Pym Test Kitchen, using the latest innovations from Pym technologies.

Elsewhere, Marvel fans will also be able to meet their favourite superheroes, including Ant Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man and more.


Themed Disney Hotel

Disney’s Paris park will be treated to a brand new and exclusive hotel; Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, which is set to open next summer and will feature over 300 pieces of Marvel artwork on display.

There will also, of course, be themed guest rooms featuring the likes of Spider Man, and those staying will be given the opportunity to meet the superheroes up close.


Disney Cruises

For those that love to cruise, there will be three new ships to enjoy, the first of which has been revealed to be the Disney Wish.

The cruise is due to set sail for the first time in January 2022 and will reflect the theme of the ship, with Rapunzel on the ship’s stern, representing her character’s wish to see the world.

Guests can also look forward to a new signature island experience that will celebrate nature and the culture of The Bahamas at a new port of call located on the island of Eleuthera, at Lighthouse Point.


Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong’s Disneyland will feature a huge transformation on the park’s castle, which will be known as the Castle of Magical Dreams and will take inspiration from 13 of Disney’s beloved animations, with adornments such as; Snow White’s apple, Cinderella’s coach, and Belle’s rose.

The castle will also become a canvas for new entertainment, including a daytime show and a nighttime spectacular and will also be home to a new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where children can receive royal transformations.


Walt Disney World Resort

With Disney’s 50th-anniversary celebrations coming up in 2021, guests can expect to see a whole range of new rides, shows, and attractions to open in celebration then.

One of the new and exciting features that will be made available from late 2020, will be the new Disney Genie app, which will help guests plan their days by providing customised itineraries geared to princesses, thrill-seekers, families and more.

Disney has also just launched its new Star Wars attraction in its Florida park, and will also be launching another new experience; Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

Guests will be able to check into the spaceship-shaped hotel, The Halcyon, for at least two nights, during which they will be able to enjoy an immersive Star Wars experience.
