Following the government announcement of a travel corridor between the UK and UAE earlier this month, Emirates has seen more than double UK passenger bookings in Dubai.

It follows after Emirates revealed that it will launch 15 additional weekly flights to the United Kingdom, taking the total number of weekly flights to 52 in December.

The airline’s A380 is set to take off four times a day to London’s Heathrow Airport, whilst the route to Manchester will expand to 10 flights per week, six of which will be served by the Emirates A380.

Emirates will now expand its operations in Birmingham and Glasgow by delivering regular services to both cities.

Within the air transport corridor between the United Kingdom and the UAE, passengers joining the United Kingdom from the UAE will no longer have to quarantine for 14 days on their departure.

UK travellers departing for Dubai can choose to take the required Covid-19 PCR test 96 hours in advance of their flight or take the test upon arrival in Dubai.

In addition to its Covid-19 cover, Emirates has also increased its multi-risk travel coverage. Supported by AIG, it will be included in the fare and due from 1st of December.
