P&O Reveals New £700m Cruise With Infinity Pools & 30 Restaurants – With 7 Nights From £499

P&O has unveiled their new £700 million cruise ship, which will debut this year.  The Iona, named after the Scottish Isle of Iona, had its first voyage across Scotland earlier this month, is now open for bookings for next month beginning at £499.

The ship, which can transport up to 5,000 passengers, boasts four swimming pools onboard, including two infinity pools 18 hot tubs, a top-deck lido, and an indoor pool sheltered by the two-deck glass dome Sky Dome. There are also plenty of sun loungers for guests to soak up the sunshine.

You are also spoilt for choice for food and drink, with 30 restaurants and bars ranging from Spanish and Norwegian to American and Caribbean, as well as menus designed by renowned chef Marco Pierre White.

There is also a four-screen cinema, a gin distillery, and a two-story theatre hosting live performances such as Gary Barlow from Take That and Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet.

The staterooms vary from basic to suite, and all include king-size mattresses, tea and coffee stations, and an en-suite bathroom, with the more luxury choices having sea-view balconies and Jacuzzi spas.

The seven-night trips across the UK start at £499, and the 14-night tours throughout Spain and Portugal start at £699, with all itineraries including entertainment, full-board dining, and port shuttle buses. 

To board, all passengers must have full travel insurance and both Covid vaccinations, however, under 18s will simply require a negative Covid test prior to arrival beginning September 25.

If you or a member of your household tests positive for Covid within 14 days of departure, P&O will cancel your vacation and offer Future Cruise Credit.
