Location & Service

The elegant neoclassical front of the luxury hotel forms the curve of Piazza della Repubblica, overlooking Rutelli’s Fountain of the Naiads, with sweeping arches and towering pillars. Some of Rome’s most famous sights, such as the Spanish Steps, are within walking distance of the hotel, and the Repubblica Metro Station is directly outside the front entrance of the hotel, providing convenient access to the rest of the city. Termini station is also just around the corner making it easy for guests to embark on day trips to other areas of Italy, whilst bus and metro stops, and taxis are also just a few steps away.

The hotel is part of the Anantara brand, a group of luxury hotels focused on tailored service and luxury high-end settings. The attention to detail at Anantara Palazzo Naiadi is exceptional, more reminiscent to a boutique hideaway than a busy lavish hotel. Due to the sheer hands-on management style and excellent staff-to-guest ratio, you’ll constantly find a staff member who is eager to book you a taxi, or direct you to the very best rooftop table with the nicest view, no matter how busy it gets.

Rooms & Suites

The Anantara Palazzo Naiadi’s more than 230 rooms and suites are located in the late-19th-century main palace and the storied Clementine Wing; the towering ceilings and meticulously sculpted details in all of the rooms exude elegance and neoclassical opulence. With soft carpets and delicate wallpaper, the decor is serene in taupes, silver, and gold. The large, comfortable beds with a variety of pillow selections are something that we always welcome, especially after long days of sightseeing around Rome, a night of good sleep is a must. Many of the premium suites also feature floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of the city. In luxury suites, guests will also find decadent extras include welcome pastries with hand-written notes.

The luxury suites also have individual and unique details such as Murano glass chandeliers, green marble floors, multiple bedrooms and floors and their own dining and living rooms.

The bathrooms are vast and elegantly designed in marble, with plenty of mirrors and counter space – our bathroom in our Duplex Palazzo View Suite came with stunning twin vanity sinks. Luxury Acqua Di Parma products are also available in a wide variety and are refilled throughout the day. You’ll also find fluffy slippers and bathrobes to enjoy, elsewhere two of the hotel’s executive suites feature their own spa, complete with a Jacuzzi and a Turkish bath.

Dining & Drinks

The La Fontana Breakfast Room, with its enormous light-filled windows overlooking the Piazza, is a great place to start the day. A plethora of nutritious and delectable options are available here along with an à la carte menu for options like omelettes (try the cheese and asparagus option inspired by a dish popular in ancient Rome) and other made-to-order specialties.

Elsewhere in the Tazio Restaurant, tables enjoy romantic dark lighting under individual cascading chandeliers at the 1950s-inspired restaurant. You’ll feel like you’re the only one in the room at the private tables and the gastronomic dishes from the Mediterranean are both pleasing to look at and equally delicious to eat. Chef Niko Sinisgalli’s flavours are simple and natural, yet exquisite, with recipes from Rome, Sicily and beyond. Journey with him with a seven-course tasting menu paired with Italy’s finest wines.

The Champagnerie is the hotel’s champagne bar with a dolce vita vibe where the city’s glitterati congregate at night. It’s a perfect date night spot with the romantic red mood lighting and shimmering chandelier above the white and black checkerboard floor. The Lobby Bar, with its large comfortable chairs and bright open atmosphere, is also an excellent spot to have a drink and unwind.
