Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has opened its very first hotel in The Seychelles with a rebrand of the Maia Luxury Resort & Spa.
Regarded as one of the country’s most luxurious resorts and designed by Bill Bensley and Lek Bunnag, the resort will come under the new brand in September 2021.
Set to be known as Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas, the opening will mark the Anantara Group’s brand in the Indian Ocean, where it already has six hotels across the Maldives, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka.
The 30-acre, 30 villa resort sits on Anse Louis Beach and is built into stunning hillside gardens on the southwest coast and unlike many of the Seychelle’s exclusive resorts, Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas is on the main island of Mahe, in close distance to the international airport.
Each villa comes with a dedicated host available 24-hours a day and the resort’s ‘Beyond All Inclusive’ package offers unlimited dining, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Whilst daily yoga, qigong, unlimited scuba-diving, and non-motorised watersports and many other activities are also included in the stay.
Each villa also has its own private infinity pool, outdoor bath, and premium guest amenities.
Anantara Spa has three open-air treatment rooms set among the rocks and gardens, and there is also a main resort pool and fitness centre with TechnoGym Excite equipment.
