The Mayfair Townhouse – sister hotel to Cliveden House, where the Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex stayed the night before her wedding – opened its doors last week.
Comprised of 15 Georgian Townhouses located on London’s Half Moon Street, the 172 room and suite property is the fifth hotel from Iconic Luxury Hotels.
The hotel draws inspiration from characters such as Oscar Wilde, with Half Moon Street being the setting for Wilde’s most famous play, The Importance of Being Earnest.
The Mayfair Townhouse has five room categories starting at, Cabin and Classic Room and ranging up to a Deluxe and Executive Garden Room. It also boasts five suite types made up of The Junior Suite, The Algernon Suite, The Moncrieff Suite, The Green Park Suite, and The Garden Suite.
A number of the suites have their own private patio and incredible views over London’s West End.
The hotel’s Dandy Bar serves as a key social hub at the Mayfair Townhouse – a theatrical, dimly lit atmosphere that creates a place to see and be seen in the heart of Mayfair. The essence of a private club, without the frills of a membership, the bar is an intimate space to relax from the bustling streets of Mayfair.
Rooms start at £252 per night.
