The Lanesborough Grill, the new flagship modern British restaurant with celebrated British Chef Shay Cooper at the helm, is a must-visit when in London, whether it be for a special occasion, romantic dinner or a relaxed catch-up with friends and some live music.
Shay Cooper is one of the UK’s most recognised chefs, having earned a Michelin star at The Bingham Hotel in Richmond and replicating this triumph as Executive Chef at The Goring, where the hotel received its first Michelin star during his service. Shay was also the launch chef for the reopening of the famed Notting Hill restaurant Julie’s in 2020, where he received stellar reviews for his contemporary and subtly refined take on classic British cookery.
The Lanesborough, one of London’s most iconic five-star hotels, is set in a magnificent Regency mansion, with the hotel’s flagship restaurant, The Lanesborough Grill situated in the lavishly adorned dining room, which is naturally lit during the day by a domed glass ceiling and seductively aglow in the evening beneath softly lit chandeliers, making it the ideal new home for this talented chef and for guests looking for a sophisticated and memorable dining experience in London.
