Luxury country house hotel Beaverbrook is to open its first property in London, in partnership with real estate giant Cadogan.
Housed within two Georgian townhouses on Sloane Street, The Beaverbrook Town House hotel will launch in summer 2021 following a £25 million restoration of two townhouses opposite the Grade II listed Cadogan Place Gardens.
The hotel will have just 14 luxury suites named after celebrated London theatres and a 60-cover Japanese restaurant and bar – which follows in the footsteps of Beaverbrook.
The restaurant’s interior has been inspired by 19th-century artist Hokusai, best known as creator of the woodblock print series Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji, and will look out onto Sloane Street with views of Cadogan Place Gardens.
It will be Cadogan’s fourth hotel collaboration, alongside 11 Cadogan Gardens, which joined luxury hotel and restaurant collection Relais and Chateaux in 2019, the Belmond Cadogan Hotel, which reopened after a multi-million pound renovation project last year, and the forthcoming Costes Hotel at One Sloane Square.
Beaverbrook opened its luxury country house hotel and exclusive golf club near Leatherhead, Surrey, in August 2017.
